Martin Studer

After a PhD in chemistry, Martin joined the pharmaceutical industry as a research chemist in the area of catalysis. After a short excursion to the Swiss government (EU framework programme), he joined the environmental department of Hoffmann-La Roche and was head of the environmental protection group of the Basel site. After early retirement, Martin extended his activities in environmental protection and sustainability to activities outside the pharmaceutical industry.

Martin is interested in multi-disciplinary topics. Industrial settings were always attractive to him because of the possible impact on a technical and personal level. Supporting people to analyze and change their behavior, or to improve their environment was and is a big motivator for him.
